What is available in United States, which product types are permitted, and what you actually own.

The US is the most restricted market on this site. Stock CFDs are banned for US retail traders, so Bybit TradFi is not available. The tokenized-stock products from Kraken, Bybit and Coinbase are aimed at non-US users, and Binance's bStocks and Binance Stocks both exclude US residents. Ondo's tokenized equities are likewise targeted outside the US.

In practice, US investors who want real share ownership are far better served by a domestic regulated broker than by any crypto-exchange equity product, almost all of which are geofenced away from the US. Always confirm current eligibility directly with the platform before assuming access.

Binance bStocksBinance bStocks (launched June 2026) are tokenized stock certificates issued as BEP-20 tokens, backed 1:1 and regulated under ADGM. Legally they are not shares and give no direct share ownership; corporate actions are reflected in the token.
Binance StocksBinance Stocks (launched June 2026) offers real US equities for non-US users through broker-dealer Nest Trading with Alpaca handling clearing. You get actual share ownership and dividends — distinct from Binance's tokenized bStocks.
Bybit TradFiBybit TradFi offers CFDs and perpetual contracts on stocks and indices via MT5 (powered by Infra Capital, Mauritius FSC), with leverage up to 500x. You do not own the underlying — only price exposure. Not available in the EEA, US and some other regions.
Kraken xStocksxStocks are tokenized stocks issued by Backed Finance (Switzerland), backed 1:1 and tradeable on-chain. Kraken is the market leader by volume (Bybit also lists xStocks). You hold the token rather than the equity itself.
HyperliquidHyperliquid is an on-chain perpetuals DEX. Equity exposure comes via on-chain equity perps built on its HIP-3 framework — e.g. builder trade.xyz lists 24/7 perps on Tesla, Apple, Nvidia and Amazon plus a Nasdaq index. Leveraged derivatives, no ownership.
CoinbaseCoinbase has announced tokenized stocks for non-US users, expected to launch around August 2026. The product is not live yet; details on backing and custody are still being confirmed.
